Compact Cool shared with visitors that they are a local chiller manufacturer that offers a local alternative to imported units. “We have our own facilities to produce non-standard units. Cool Breeze (Air-Dale Engineering) exhibited its unique twin-fan cooler, as well as its regular high-quality Cool Breeze evaporative coolers. They also showcased new high-tech QC systems and inverter fans. Stuart Karovsky, general manager (pictured), said the products are proudly Australian and of a high calibre. The Copper Development Association Africa displayed some of their main members. “We are advertising our support of training in the industry,” said Evert Swanepoel, executive chairman. The association was also at the show to further promote the use of copper in HVAC. Cubicool International exhibited its full range of Cubicool products, including some of its latest design releases. Visitors met the team and learnt about their exciting prospects in terms of products and services in 2018 and beyond. Dalucon highlighted that they are now using EcoMate polyurethane chemicals. They have changed all their pumps and comply with EU standards. Also, they are the only company injecting at 40mm density with the EcoMate chemicals. Danfoss displayed a huge variety of their cooling products. “The message we’re driving here is engineering tomorrow. We are trying to digitise all our products, creating next generation networks,” said Roy Naidoo, area sales manager: refrigeration and air conditioning (in picture). Products on display included the optima invertor running on variable speed drive, the multi ejector, new ICAD actuators on the ammonia side, and CO 2 products. DDL Equipment’s stand focused on giving more information on their Uni-Flo spiral doors, high-speed doors, and conveyors. Armand Momberg, sales representative (pictured), said DDL aims to take FRIGAIR’s networking experience to bolster its business. Desiccant Rotors International is a member of both local and international associations (SAIRAC and ASHRAE) and distributes a variety of products to the market. Fellow member of SAIRAC and life member of ASHRAE, Chris Elston manned the stand, offering brochures and pamphlets with more information about the company. Direct Digital Control Services (DDCS) showed off its Innotech range of equipment, including OMNI and other controls such as the new building energy management system (BEMS) controllers. Dos-Air exhibited evaporative coolers, spare ducting, spiral diffusers, and other products. They shared information about who they are and new Port-A-Cool products that will be launched around August.
