THE BEN STOKES TEAM
Eleven inspiring individuals joined forces to run an incredible campaign, which has
come to be known to us as “The Ben Stokes Team”. Their common goal was to
raise enough money to build a brand new school in Cambodia. Not only did they
raise the money needed for the construction of Keo Pich Primary School (due for
completion in Cambodia in March 2019), they exceeded their fundraising target
and were also able to commit $20,000 towards the construction of Ou Sralao Primary
School – a school that required funding to complete construction.
Fundraisers ran marathons, cycled on a hydro-bike across an ocean, held fundraising
events and played poker games to raise their funds. This campaign made history
with one fundraiser breaking a world record (see Unforgettable Fundraisers) and
the team collectively setting a new CoH record for highest funds raised in a single
campaign.
