it will yield a different definition of life. As a society, I think that is one of the very first
objectives to consider: what do we consider life (?), and are we willing to change that? Are we

Are we ready for extra-terrestrial life?
A proper distinction often made in science is the difference in evidence and reason. Evidence has
to do with various factors that yield a verdict. For example, if I go to the store and approach an
