COOLY ROCKS ON!!
Cooly Rocks On 2014, the biggest 50s
and 60s nostalgia festival in Australia
was a fun-filled fantastic event. Over
2 kilometres of Rock ‘n roll, Rockabilly,
Swing music and over 1,000 hot rods,
custom cars and classic vehicles lined
the stunning beachfront of Coolangatta
and Tweed Heads with spectacular
warm Gold Coast winter weather.
Over 100 retro market and craft stalls
took taste buds back to the 50s and 60s
with vintage styled clothes, food and
atmosphere that drew over 100,000
people.
Music filled the venues, more retro cars
rolled up each day and the festival built,
culminating in a Grand Finale weekend
where the streets were closed down,
the outdoor stages rocked and the
streets come alive with street parades,
shows, displays, competitions and over
1,000 cars parading the local streets.
Next year’s event promises to be bigger
