Are you among the 80% population with a New Year's Resolution? We all have goals and accomplishments that we would love to forfill, but we sometimes fall by the "wayside" and get off track. Have you ever thought that maybe being apart of a routine is just too boring and... too routine? We make efforts to enhance ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually. But are we true to ourselves? If it is so easy to fail, why do we set unattainable goals? I believe it's human nature. We're just creatures of habit. The victim of the "Resolution" game that which is a facade for a new start in a New Year. We find ourselves starting new diets, every other month. I call it the "30 Day Stretch". But that's if we can make it the full 30 days. We start a new membership at the gym..."30 Day Stretch!" We make a commitment of going to church..."30 Day Stretch!" We commit to improving ourselves within so that whatever is inside will comes out smelling like a rose... "The 30 Day Stretch". We even challenge ourselves to loving unconditionally... must I say it... "The 30 Day Stretch". Some of us even are convinced that we should not partake in making any kind of Resolution because we already know that it will not come full circle. So tell me, why do we do it?

God is the only one who delivers on His promise or should I gently say, "Reconciliations". 2CORINTHIANS 5:17, 18- "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come". 18. "Now all these things are from God,

who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation". So commit not to yourself, but to God. Put your trust in His son, Jesus and watch how your life changes, right in front of your eyes. The 30 day strech will last forever.
