Dr. Ralph Crystal presented Dr. John Slevin with momentos to honor his wife, Barbara Slevin, who was a doctoral student in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling when she passed away last fall. 3. Dr. Margaret Bausch was among faculty and staff who spoke fondly of Dr. Barbara Slevin. 2 3 Slocum wins DADD student presentation award for 2016 Victoria Slocum won the Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities’ (DADD) 2016 Herbert J. Prehm Student Presentation Award. DADD is a division of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). This award is given to a student who has submitted a proposal for the CEC Convention that is relative to the field of intellectual disability and Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Slocum COE COMMUNICATOR | APRIL 2016 is a doctoral candidate in the UK College of Education’s Department of Early Childhood, Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling.
