Around the globe

Another very interesting early flying humanoid report comes from Italy, the year 1945:

At an unspecified month during 1945, at the Italian Port of Toscana, an Italian sailor onboard the battleship “Dulio” that was anchored there at the time, looked up from his post on the ship’s bridge at something that attracted his attention. From a distance he saw what resembled a formation of migrating birds flying in a “V” formation. The sailor reached for a pair of binoculars and was treated to an unexpected sight. The “birds” turned out to be flying humans endowed with powerful wings, heading towards the battleship in a steady glide. Their faces were entirely human, and the leader, occupying the vertex of the “V” appeared to be engaged in conversation with his companion to his right. The massive wings were strangely motionless, and their legs ended in powerful, three toed claws. Their bodies were entirely covered in feathers except for their faces. The witness ran to obtain additional witnesses, but when he returned the creatures had predictably disappeared.

This incident is described by researcher Scott Corrales in “Unsolved UFO sightings, fall 1995 (a short lived magazine) and is also detailed in Moreno Tambellini’s book “Aliens in Italy Volume 1”.

Since the early 80’s the area of the UFO phenomenon which has been publicized the most has been the “Abductions” or missing time. Of course Hollywood has had a lot to do with the popularity of this once little-investigated part of UFO encounters. I ask you: Are there reports of abductions before 1947? Well of course there are.
