After a slow stroll, I finally made it to the end, and there was an expansive view of the land I was was walking away from. Fishermen were struggling to catch fish, and the surfers were surfing right below. It was just their everyday thing, and I became instantly inspired to one day soon, learn how to surf myself.

You know, this day started out pretty crappy with everything going wrong. Yet, in times like these, it's easy for a teenager to get down on things, to get down on life all together. Maybe it's because we don't have a sensor of things, how life goes up and down, good and bad, no matter what you do. This day, however, was a great teacher for me in life that it's not always where you start, but where you finish. At the beginning of the day, I felt like life was bad, but after taking a detour from the bad, to the coastline, I realized that not only can bad days change directions, so can life when it’s tough. And to that, changing your bad days to good ones makes a lot of good days, which, when strung together, become a pretty darn good life!
