ig Sur is the ultimate training ground for a coastal wanderer.
For me, I lucked into moving just 50 minutes away from this beautiful place. Purely sublime, Big Sur is filled with the spirits of the almighty. I feel more connected to nature, and thus, to a higher power, here, more than anywhere else in the world. Big Sur is a place that is so overwhelming, between the grandeur and depth of view, to the layers of mountains shaded in various hues of brown and dark greens as the mountainsides cascade down to the sea for miles and miles. This place is so unpredictable as well. In some instances it'll be 80 degrees in San Luis Obispo and Monterey, yet the fog and cold water currents will shift into this region. Other times, it's just the opposite. One thing is for sure, God is at work here, there is no other explanation. Training in Big Sur is hard, that's no joke. Yet life here is easy, beacause it's so pure.
