I joined the Auxiliary in 2003 where I completed the boat crew program in my first year.
After my first year I heard about the New AUXCHEF program. Being in the industry I was very excited. I completed the program in October of 2004 and have been a part of the program ever since. I have been SO, ADSO, DSO ,Branch Assistant and Branch Chief for the FS program. I also have been an instructor for many years, qualifying many of our present FS members. I have also held many positions in my Flotilla. This program has given me an opportunity to meet many people. I truly enjoy cooking at the Coast Guard stations and giving the crews that home style feeling. The VIP events are also quite rewarding. I have watched this program grow from its infant stage to what it has become today and I am looking forward to the future of the program. It has truly been an Honor for me to be a part of it.

I have owned and operated several Restaurants and Catering Facilities. I ran a Private chef business, off premise catering and private instructor. I have been fortunate to compete in several culinary competitions.
