The Grade 8-9 production is held at the end of November . Auditions are held in the fall and are open to all students in Grade 8-9 . Effort is made to include every girl who is interested in some aspect of the production , whether it be onstage in a role or off-stage in a supporting position . Rehearsals are after school and over two weekends closer to production time . Productions will take place in the black box theatre .

Business Club is a community where students participate in real-world case competitions and experience simulated stock market challenges . Students will also hear from inspiring industry guest speakers who will provide tips and tricks to give them a competitive edge . Members will practice their business pitches by creating innovative start-up ideas , slide decks , and presentations . By learning how to analyzing market trends , students will unleash their full potential in the world of business and entrepreneurship .

Chamber Choir is an auditioned choral ensemble for students from Grade 9-12 , and students in Grade 8 with exception . This ensemble focuses on more advanced acapella choral repertoire in 3-4 parts , covering a wide range of musical styles from baroque , contemporary to popular styles , as well as music in many languages . Chamber Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm , and have the opportunity to perform at CHS wide events and on choral music trips throughout the school year .
