Major Trips
A “ major trip ” is a one-time experience that takes students into the world , beyond the family and exposes them to a variety of experiences in a supportive and structured environment . Trips take place during the school year and range in length from 5 – 10 days . Trip costs generally run from $ 4,500 –$ 6,500 depending on the location . Trip selections are determined in mid-May of the previous year and information is posted for student consideration . A trip information meeting for students , parents and guardians is held in early September and student applications are due by the end of September with all payments due by mid October 2023
Each trip has a minimum number of student registrants required for the trip to run . If a trip does not meet the minimum number of participants after the September 2023 application deadline , the trip will not run during the 2023- 2024 school year .
