Friday Afternoon Activities Program
Pedal Prix
If you’ve never heard of RAC Pedal Prix WA, it’s been
described as the V8-Supercars of cycling, or ‘Human Powered
Vehicle Racing’.
Pedal Prix is a highly engaging and very popular extra-curricular
program that has provided a diverse range of fantastic
experiences to students across Australia for 30 years.
WA hosted its first event in 2014 with great success. Thirty-
six teams and over 300 competitors was testament to the
popularity of the program.
Guildford Grammar School was one of only three PSA schools
who took advantage of this opportunity to get in on the
ground floor of this exciting WA first. Since then the school has
competed at the 2015 and 2016 events.
Pedal Prix at Guildford Grammar School aims to provide
students with the opportunity to excel in a range of different
areas such as design, engineering, business, sports science and
cycling. We aim to be competitive on the race course, but the
process is just as important as the final goal.
