him watched his life change, they started to wonder what had changed it. Curiosity turned into openness, and openness has turned into a village where many are now considering surrendering their lives to Christ. Since Pastor SP’ s motorcycle started rolling into that area, they’ ve seen three salvations, 11 new church members, and 17 disciples being trained— across two communities that used to be closed off by nothing more complicated than distance.
In Myanmar, the impact of a motorcycle can be seen through the story of a man named Samuel. Samuel had spent years as a strong follower of a local cult belief within the Zomi community. He held to that faith firmly until he heard the Good News of our Lord Jesus. Through the story of the prodigal son, Samuel began to understand, maybe for the first time, that he was the one who was lost, far from the Father who was waiting for him. He repented, and he came home to Christ.
Since then, Samuel hasn’ t looked back. He’ s walking in the light, and his life has become a living testimony of what God can do with someone the world had already written off. In that region alone, they’ ve now recorded 34 salvations, 31 new church members, and 45 disciples in training— the fruit of workers who could finally get to the people who needed them.
And then there’ s Luis Basso, a

partner leading ministry across the island of Madagascar among the Bara people. His testimony sums up why the partnership between MV, CMA, Jesus Film Project ®, and Global Christian Relief is so important.
“ We have used [ the motorcycles ] in more than 500 villages with the JESUS film, and the bikes are being used for soccer ministry, sports ministry, visiting villages— just to disciple kids. You have been such a blessing to us. We don’ t know how to say thanks, but saying thanks. God bless you guys.”
Five hundred villages. One ministry. Countless children hearing about Jesus because a leader could finally get there.
Here’ s what I want you to understand: none of these men— Pastor SP, the pastor in Nigeria, Luis and his team, and thousands more— none of them lacked calling. None of them lacked courage. None of them lacked the Holy Spirit’ s leading. What they lacked was a way to get there.
That’ s the gap Run for the Son fills. Not the calling, not the courage; God supplies those tenfold. But through our work together, the road between a willing servant and the people God has called him to reach is easier and faster to navigate.
I think about Paul’ s words in Ephesians 2, that we were“ dead in our transgressions and sins,” made“ alive in Christ... through no work of our own, so that no one

can boast.” That’ s the Gospel these motorcycles carry. It’ s not a message about self-improvement or better circumstances. It’ s a message about being made alive. And every mile these bikes travel is another mile that message gets to go where it’ s never been before.
Last year, we hit a milestone, decades in the making— the 10,000th motorcycle given out. But if I’ m honest with you, the number that moves me more is the one we can’ t count yet: the salvations, the disciples, the churches planted, the villages transformed, that are still unfolding right now because of a bike someone rode out this morning to a place the Gospel had never been.
So, when you’ re organizing your next ride, your next fundraiser for Run for the Son, and it starts to feel like just one more event on the calendar— remember Ravi, remember Samuel, remember the pastor in Nigeria who can finally reach the Fulani. Remember that somewhere right now, a pastor is standing at the end of a road, wondering if God remembers him, wondering if there’ s any way to reach the people he’ s been called to.
And then remember, because of you, there is.
