I want to thank Dwayne and Donna Owens , the new Washington State Coordinators , for writing this article . They have lived in the area for the past 28 years . I asked them if they could give us their favorite rides when going to the Oyster Run and a little background on the event .

2023 marks the 40th running of the Oyster Run . This event is like no other in the Pacific Northwest . It started in 1981 with a few guys riding together and going to eat some oysters . How it works : Schedule your route and end up in the beautiful town of Anacortes ! Plan to get there early , as 10,000 to 20,000 motorcycles have attended in the past . This event is one of the examples where CMA has earned the right to speak by serving consistently over the years . Volunteering at the Oyster Run centers around crossing
