( continued from page 21 ) wronged us .
Jesus was so gracious that in Luke , He called out , “ Father , forgive them ; for they do not know what they are doing ” ( Luke 23:34a , NASB ). These were the ones mocking Him , nailing spikes through Him . Sometimes I believe we need to be like that and not demand a complete and thorough apology from others .
Instead , for the sake of the
Kingdom , our health , and the joy of others , shut out the division . Build unity by showing mercy and grace to those we serve alongside . God has so richly blessed us to have a family in CMA to care , ride , pray , serve , evangelize , and just have plain old fun with . Thank you for being part of our family ! A rider at this stage must get medical help immediately . The older we get , the more likely we will suffer from heat-related problems .
As CMA members , we should take care of ourselves , but it is more important to take care of other riders . Watch those around you for signs of heat-related problems . Check on riders parked on the side of the road or at rest areas and gas stations for signs of heat distress . Give someone that extra bottle of water you have with you . A space blanket in a first aid kit makes a great sun shade when stretched between two bikes . Encourage riders to take breaks out of the sun . Call for medical help if you think it ' s needed . A small kindness to a rider in distress might save their life and is a great way to show God ' s love to others . CMA
