RFS TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY IMPACT

WHILE

attending the recently concluded
2022 CMA National Rally on Iron Mountain in Hatfield , Arkansas , I was watching in amazement the lists of CMA chapters and individuals who had participated in Run for the Son . Early indicators seemed to suggest that we would be celebrating another record-breaking RFS event – indeed we did !
Prior to receiving the ministry partner check for 2022-23 , I felt I heard God say to me with a smile , “ I told you I could do more than you could ask or think .” When I opened the check on stage - Boy , did He ever !
This fiscal year promises to be an amazing one as RFS funds are utilized to provide more modes of transportation to national pastors and church planters in a single year than ever before .
But what about last year ’ s results ( 2021 )? Well , I ’ m glad you asked . Together , CMA and MVI shared in the following Kingdom exploits through gifts of transportation : 1 . RFS 2021 check received for
$ 1,051,588.56
2 . 605 forms of transportation were provided : a . 113 bikes and other forms of transportation – including three caravans of camels ( 12 ) b . 492 motorcycles 3 . Total countries impacted last year – 58
4 . Total cumulative salvations since RFS began more than 30 years ago – 18,000,000 ( eighteen million )
5 . Cumulatively , tens of thousands of churches have also been planted , and hundreds of thousands of leaders have been trained and better equipped for Gospel outreach .
In Psalm 133 ( NKJV ) we are prophetically reminded , “ how beautiful and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity … for there the Lord commands His blessing .”
Our historic ministry partnership with CMA , Open Doors , and Jesus Film Project ® is unlike anything I had witnessed personally or professionally after 35 years of serving as a pastor . Ministry partnership takes work , accountability , likemindedness , flexibility , passion , and due diligence to survive and thrive for more than three decades . It is obvious to me that our partnership with CMA is ordained by God and honored by those who lead .
Three recent testimonies from the field of ministry come to mind that relate to the gift of motorcycles :

1

Pastor Raju , from India , received a motorcycle recently . He is a pastor in rural India who has been ministering to outlying , remote villages , difficult to reach by car or truck . Often , he would go on foot or on
borrowed horseback , making it quite difficult to frequent these remote locations . After nearly six years of preaching in one of these villages , Pastor Raju considered ending his efforts there and choosing another location . No one had given their lives to Christ in those six years . While he was praying about this decision , he felt that the Spirit of God was saying , “ Don ’ t quit . Keep going ! Keep preaching !” It was during this time of contemplation that he unexpectedly received a CMA / MVI motorcycle . Such was the encouragement he received that he went again to the same village in question shortly thereafter . That day , a couple who had heard the Gospel message for six years finally gave their lives to Christ . Such was the visual spiritual transformation in their lives that many other villagers likewise came to Christ shortly thereafter . If that isn ’ t enough to have our minds blow , land was also given by a new believer to build a building suitable to house more than 100 believers . Amazing !!!!

A pastor in China having received a motorcycle recently , reported saying , “ I am no longer a young man , but God still loves me , and I love preaching the Gospel to the lost . I knew God loved me , but I could not have known that I was also loved by brothers and sisters in Christ in a faraway land who would give me a motorcycle to help me reach my Chinese countrymen for Christ .
