As Nelson sent a report about his use of the bike , one picture stood out above the rest - he had written the names of everyone he had led to begin a relationship with Christ since receiving the motorcycle - 18 names so far . The smile on his face is beaming .

I can ’ t wait to hear more stories - both from those already equipped with transportation whose ministry keeps expanding , and from those who will receive transportation for the first time this year . A LIFE SAVED Pastor Somkeat Kellchua in Thailand has a heart to reach his neighbors with the Gospel and grow his small church . Two years ago , he was equipped with a motorbike because of CMA and Run for the Son . He began using it to reach new areas with the Gospel , sharing about Jesus and bringing people to church with a side carriage . When the pandemic hit , he began delivering food to families whose livelihoods had been cut off .
Then , earlier this year , he received a phone call from a distressed grandmother . Her granddaughter , Gita , was suffering from depression and had tried to take her own life by ingesting poison . She needed urgent medical care . Pastor Somkeat was able to take Gita on his motorbike to the nearest hospital , about 30 km away ( about 18 miles ). Thankfully , the doctors were in time to save her .
Pastor Somkeat and others were able to speak with Gita and talk to her about God ’ s love . They assured her how valuable she was to God , and urged her not to try to take her life again . Their messages broke through her depression , and her life began to change . She began attending school again and even began leading worship at church . An amazing transformation indeed !
We praise God for the way He has equipped and empowered both Pastor Somkeat and Gita , as well as so many others in churches across Thailand . He is doing a mighty work and it ’ s a blessing to be part of it !
