worldwide, to His glory.
In 2019, through your partnership
with Jesus Film Project,
you supported evangelism
efforts in Europe, women’s ministry
in Central Asia, evangelism
training in South Korea, various
translation projects for Gospelbased
films and so much more.
Since 1997 Christian
Motorcyclists Association (CMA)
has given more than $15.6 million

May these encourage and
inspire you! God is at work!
ADOPTED INTO GOD’S FAMILY
Eastern Europe—Leaders shared
the Gospel at evangelism events by
showing Jesus Film Project® movies
and short films. The following story
is from this project.
When Maria* went to an evangelism
event that utilized Jesus Film
Project resources, she didn’t know
the story God was about to write.
Victor, a national director of Global
Church Movements (GCM)—a
church-planting organization associated
with Campus Crusade for
Christ®—invited parents to a weekly
follow-up study. Maria expressed
interest, and after several meetings,
she gave her life to Jesus!
Maria repented of her sins and
prayed a unique request: She asked
God to reunite her with her biological
mother. Maria had been adopted
when she was 2 years old.
About 40 miles away in another
city, an older woman named Elena
watched Magdalena: Released
From Shame at a tent evangelism
event organized by GCM. Once the
film concluded, she approached a
leader and admitted she was a sinner.
That night, Elena received
Jesus as her Lord and Savior. After
becoming a Christ follower, local
believers began mentoring Elena
through a small discipleship group.
Elena knew an unresolved situation
lurked in her past. Years earlier,
Elena gave birth to a little girl, but
she put her up for adoption. Now
she desired her daughter’s forgiveness,
and she hoped to share Jesus’
love with her. She needed to find
her.
Elena tracked down an address
for her daughter and traveled 40
miles to the home of the adoptive
parents, only to find that her
daughter no longer lived there. The
family shared with Elena that Maria
had a child of her own, but refused
to tell Elena where Maria lived.
Devastated, Elena’s eyes welled
up with tears; and, as she turned to
leave, a car pulled up to the house.
Out came Elena’s daughter, Maria,
and her baby. Concerned for this
crying woman, Maria asked her
why she was crying. Elena recounted
her own story to Maria. As Maria
listened, she too began to cry.
Unlike Elena’s tears, Maria cried
joyful tears.
Unable to contain herself, Maria
began worshipping God, proclaiming,
“Lord, thank you for listening to
my prayers!” Though separated by
miles and years, God reunited
mother, daughter, and granddaughter.
This triumphant reconciliation
culminated with Elena and
Maria being baptized together.
GCM organized two events in two
different cities, but God authored
one continuous story. Praise Him
for His providential hand!
