1 2 evangelism is the primary way CMA has ministered to lost bikers for more than forty-five years . Servant evangelism seeks to meet a lost biker ' s need ( help with an oil change , offer a drink of water , pray with them ) that leads to an intentional conversation about Christ the Savior . This can and should be happening at all levels of our ministry , including the local chapter level . So how ? How can you start ministering to bikers in the way that CMA has ministered successfully for so many years ?

Begin Serving Personally " It starts with me ," goes the saying . You should look for ways that you – not your chapter or state but you – can share kindness and serve others . Every time you mount your bike or see another biker , how can you initiate a friendly conversation that can lead to an intentional sharing of the Gospel ?
Identify Needs in Your Area Rebel against self-centered culture , and look at CMA time or riding time with the following question : " How can I serve the motorcyclists of my area ?" Are there bike nights , racing events , bike shops , or chapters of local clubs who could use some service ? Maybe they need a friendly group of faces at their event or a parking lot director for their race . Identify these opportunities and begin to serve .

Go Where the Needs Are You ' ve identified needs ; now you must go . The Great Commission , after all , is about going and doing , not staying and talking about it . So don ' t stop at identifying needs , but go . Show up . Serve . Get out of your comfort zone . Rub shoulders with bikers . It may be difficult , but going and serving others opens up numerous divine opportunities for God to use you that wouldn ' t have happened if you spent that evening or weekend on the couch or in your own yard .

Make a Plan for Sharing the Gospel You ' ve probably heard of the twominute testimony . Have yours ready to go , but beyond that , have a plan for how to take a conversation about the event or about your act of service and turn it into a conversation about Christ . These don ' t have to all be witty one-liners about " I share water because Jesus is my water - the Water of Life ." But they can be . The question to answer when making a plan is this : how can I take a conversation about this specific race or the fact that I have just given them a cup of coffee and lead into a conversation about my Savior ?

Stay Faithful Remain faithful to the event ( s ) that you begin to serve . For example , if you support a local group as a chaplain , be as consistent as possible . In displaying faithful servanthood over time , you are modeling the enduring , selfless love of Christ poured out for you , and for the bikers you are ministering to .
I hope this guide was helpful as a practical help for starting or continuing to serve lost bikers in your area . God bless you as you go and make disciples . CMA
