HURRICANE HELENE
A little over a year has passed since the tragedy of Hurricane Helene devastated the lives of so many people in Western North Carolina. Progress has been made in its recovery, but a lot of work is still to be done, not to mention the healing for those who lost loved ones.
What I observed during the early days of the disaster was how CMA representatives from various parts of the country were reaching out, asking what they could do to help. We prayed many prayers, and we in NC decided that we could serve best by volunteering with agencies better equipped to deal with things like this. So that is what was done and continues to this day.
Three chapters, many states away, helped by providing cash and gift cards to assist those in need. I decided to give them to Charlie and Penny Morgan, the West Area Reps, to assist those in need at a time and place that made the most sense during the recovery phase. Those chapters, although Iβ m sure they didnβ t do it for recognition, need to be called out for their sacrifice and livingβ Here if you need us.β They are: 1) CMA Peacemakers, Baton Rouge, LA; 2) Red Letter Rumblers, Ashdown, AR; and 3) New Life Riders, Ringoes, NJ.
May the Lord bless each of you for your support and concern for our CMA family in NC. No one but Jesus could put within the heart of man the compassion for another personβ s spiritual and physical needs as much as the family of CMA.

VIETNAM WALL PRESENTATION
Good day. We Live in Port Townsend, Washington. We were blessed to have the Vietnam Wall presentation here today, 9 / 11 / 25. April and I were wearing CMA vests at the presentation. The pastor spoke a prayer and raised hands to the Glory of Jesus Christ with the Veterans and their families. At the end of the prayer presentation, the pastor made his way right to us, shook hands, and thanked us for being there and honoring God, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also did not know this personβ another confirmation of the power of Jesus Christ ' s love.
