Gulf Coast Blessing of the Bikes has been held in Gautier , Mississippi , for 22 years . The highest number of bikes in attendance was 858 , with 960 people attending – this was a few years before Hurricane Katrina . The average number of bikes is 420 .

Every year , a free event pin is given to each person in attendance . Each year ’ s design is different . We have children ' s activities for families that bring their children . The men ' s group at the church provides free coffee and sausage biscuits . We try to have a fair number of free door prizes for any non-CMA member in attendance .

We try to have some form of music provided for those in attendance . The police who provide traffic control are always prayed for during the event . This has been the cooperative effort of the three Gulf Coast chapters - Gateway Riders , Rehoboth , and God ' s Gulf Riders . There are always CMA chapters from Alabama , Louisiana , and Mississippi that help to bless the bikes . CMA
