FOUR ELEMENTS OF A HEALTHY CHAPTER I want to take a moment to talk about healthy chapters . So let ' s start with the basics and see what the CMA Handbook says about having a healthy chapter . There are four elements to a healthy chapter :
1 . Prayer . We must pray about everything , such as each other , divine appointments , rallies we attend , events in our area , our leadership within the chapter , and State and National leadership , to mention a few .
2 . Fellowship . Fellowship is so important because if the body is not healthy , then you are already in trouble . Have gettogethers where the main purpose is to have fun and get to know each other better . Go on a chapter ride and have ice cream - it ' s a CMA tradition . LOL . Have a time of prayer just for each other . Get to know each other ' s struggles and do this thing called life together .
3 . Evangelism . Now it ' s time to go out into the world and get to work . First , we must go to events in our area . The main thing is to show up and start building relationships . Do not condemn the lost for acting like the lost , and don ' t be a Bible thumper . You are the Bible to them and probably the closest thing to Jesus in their life . Talk about things that interest them , such as their motorcycle . You may have to talk to them

several times before you get to present the Gospel , but the day will come . You don ' t have to be a Bible scholar to tell them about Jesus . Remember what we talked about at Seasons , use your two-minute testimony . Tell them what you were like before Christ , how you came to Christ , and what your life is like since you accepted Christ , and then allow them the opportunity to accept Christ .
4 . Discipleship . Discipleship is where a lot of us fail . We lead someone to the Lord and then move on to the next person . Doing this is like giving birth to a baby and telling them good luck and walking away . Now is the time to invest in their life . Invite them to a chapter meeting and chapter Bible study , invite them to church with you , or even do a one-on-one Bible study with them . Remember , you are getting the privilege to help prepare another Christian to go out into this lost world and tell someone else about Jesus .
Does the community that you live in know that there is a CMA chapter in the area ? It is time to let them know , and here are just a few suggestions .
1 . Wear your back patch everywhere you go . I understand that some of you cannot wear your back patch to work , but you can put them on when you go somewhere after work . If you go to the store , wear your

back patch . If you go to the gas station , wear your back patch . If you go out to eat , wear your back patch . The list is endless , but the point is just to wear your back patch .
2 . Now that you are wearing your back patch all the time let ' s get on our motorcycles . Your motorcycle is a great ministry tool . Even people who don ' t ride motorcycles like to walk up to them and look at them . The CMA vest ( or back patch ) and the motorcycle will open up more doors for you than you can possibly imagine .
