When we got out , the couple was still in the parking lot , waiting for their friend , who was going to help them get a new starter for the truck . God put it on our hearts that our divine appointment was not over yet . We knew they were losing time and money by sitting in that lot and not being at the fair , so we took up a collection for them and wrapped it in a quick note of encouragement . The mechanic and his wife presented it to them . We don ’ t exactly know what they talked about , but the mechanic ’ s wife came away with exchanged contact information and a promise to meet for coffee .
So God ’ s plan was impeccable once again . We “ just happened ” to be able to leave early so we would get to that couple at just the right time . The member who chose that fuel stop and restaurant “ just happened ” to notice it in the past . The group “ just happened ” to include the right combination of skills to meet the various needs of the couple , and “ just happened ” to include a car to transport the resulting gift . God gave each person a role to play in that assignment and He handed out our “ lines ” as we walked onto
His stage .
The group agreed that the beautiful eagle should go the mechanic , since he was the one that actually did the work . The couple decided it would not reside at their house , but be on display at the restaurant where the mechanic ’ s chapter meets , with the picture of the group , and the story behind it explaining who CMA is and why we do what we do . We look forward to even more divine appointments .
