( CMASA ) and a new year , new opportunities , new possibilities , a new harvest to explore , more people to reach . The possibilities are endless , and God is at the steer .
2022 kicked off with great rides and fellowship with our CMA family and our family in the biking fraternity . With just about all Covid imposed restrictions now gone , we were finally able to , for the first time in two years , host the CMA Annual Biker Blessing Run nationwide in all our regions . We invited all motorcyclists , their families , and friends to come and allow us to pray a blessing over them , their families , and clubs . In some regions , the chapters even served their fellow bikers a meal . We were pleasantly surprised even to see some 1 % clubs riding to join the various Blessing Runs . When God moves , great things happen . As an organisation we ’ re excited to see what God is busy doing through His CMA ministry in this amazing country of ours .
Talking about “ relaxed ” Covid restrictions , this allowed us to have our annual CMASA National Rally for the first time since 2019 . Hosted at our CMASA headquarters in Midrand , Gauteng , from April 15-17 . This year , we ’ re doing things differently with our Gauteng North ( GPN ) and Gauteng South ( GPS ) regions taking the lead in organising and arranging this special annual event . We ’ re looking forward to this event with great excitement !
I ’ m so proud of our Northern Cape Region , led by Jos Steenvat . The guys and ladies in this region are seriously taking territory for
God and actively planting new chapters and establishing new churches . When we move with God , we see growth . Not only in number but in character and spirit . We realize the importance and value of reaching those younger than us , the young adults and youth , so we fully support and celebrate the young adult movements that are busy taking shape in our GPN and GPS regions . We ’ re looking forward with expectant hearts to the new leaders our young adults will become . There will be a new generation to carry forth the Flame , the message of Hope and Salvation through Jesus , a new generation to expand the territory of CMA in this nation .
To expand and grow CMASA , we must equip ourselves and continue to add tools to our ministry toolbox . Some of our leaders have enrolled in Bible School , and already we can see the fruits . These men and women put what they ’ ve learned into action , leading their chapters and regions with excellence . It is now only March 2022 . With God at the helm and under the guidance of our National Vice President , Jacky van Dyk , we have started a new chapter in our North- West Region . We have ten members there . In our Northern Cape region , we have two new riding groups in towns called Upington and De Aar .
Our prison ministry also has its own newsletter . In our Western Cape Region , where our National President resides , we hosted our CMA Freedom Road Rally . This was very well attended by local clubs . Last but not least , our GPN Region has launched a monthly
newsletter that ’ s well put together and sent to many of our other regions . What a great way to encourage , advertise events and show what you ’ ve been up to .
To conclude , I want to encourage all CMA members to have “ Crazy Faith .” A phrase I heard in a recent leadership podcast by Craig Groeschel . Some might say it ’ s crazy to plant another chapter , pray to have a chapter of 50 , or have five young couples mentored as part of your succession plan . Here ’ s the thing , it is only crazy until it happens . His ways are far beyond ours . I truly believe that the best is yet to come , not only for CMASA but for CMA worldwide . Keep on Riding for the Son . CMA
