May I use this opportunity to
again thank each Regional Leader
and their teams; Eddie Roos
(Western Cape), Earl Swannepoel
(Kwazulu Natal), Brett England (Free
State), Jos Steenvat (Northern Cape),
David Bender and Max Larue
(Gauteng), Kotie Myburgh
(Mpumalanga), Marius Maidment
(Limpopo), Ziggy Duwe (Eastern
Cape), and Martin van Rensburg
(Southern Cape). These men and
their teams are leading the way,
respected by the Biker Counsels and
clubs in their areas, and making a
difference among the motorcyclists
of this wonderful nation.
In a nation with various economic
challenges, the people of CMASA are
the light bearers, hope givers, and
difference makers…by God’s grace!
With joy we continue riding for the
Son, looking forward to the next 40
years of CMASA.
We boldly declare that God is the
leader of CMASA!
To close, how we do it with a real
jaw dropping testimony from our
National Vice President, Jacky van
Dyk.
On Friday morning, 12 December
2014, I received a phone call from
Pinnacle BMW dealer in Secunda,
South Africa. The principal dealer
wanted to see me about a problem
that he had (only to get me in his
office). In his office, he said that he
had been monitoring me for a period
and that he was impressed in what I
was doing among the bikers here in
Secunda and in South Africa. He said
that he wanted to be part of my
ministry in CMA by sponsoring me
with a BMW GS1200 Adventure
motorbike and change it regularly to
do what I must do in South African
biking community. The sponsorship
would be for five years. In October
2019, he informed that the sponsor-
ship would be stopped due to finan-
cial strain in the business world. My
response was that it was okay with
me, I had my own private motorbike
(BMW 1200 RT), and I could continue
with my calling in CMASA.
On 24 February 2020, I took my
1200RT for a 20,000km service, the
salesman gave me a 1250GS
Adventure for the day while they
were busy with my motorbike. Later
that afternoon I took back the
1250GS Adventure to collect my
1200RT. As I entered the Pinnacle
BMW dealership, the principal dealer
asked when I would come and fetch
my motorbike. I said to him that I
was there to fetch my motorbike. He
said, no the black 1200GS Adventure
was my motorbike. I said to him that
I did not understand. Then he said
that there were a few businessmen
in town that decided to pay for the
motorbike and that he must give it
to me so that I could continue with
my CMA work. I was so over-
whelmed and just started praising
our mighty God for His goodness and
blessing on me. They delivered this
1200GS Adventure to my home the
same day. A week later I visited the
shop again to get a quote for the
service on the 1200GS Adventure.
Remember, a week ago I paid for the
1200 RT’s service and my budget is
limited. The dealer asked me if he
could help me, I said yes, I need a
quote for the 1200GS Adventure
service. He replied, “Don’t worry, I
will deal with the bill.”
We praise God for His provision.
Thank you, Jesus. CMA

with any organization, there
are some ebbs and flows, but
we know that CMA is the Lord’s
instrument of change among the
motorcyclists of South Africa. It is
with great joy and excitement that I
can say that CMA in South Africa has
seen an amazing 2019 with 64 chap-
ters and we look forward to a year of
tremendous growth on all fronts in
2020!
This year, CMASA will celebrate
40 years of existence, 40 years of
leading the motorcyclists, their fami-
ly, and their friends to the Lord,
through His ministry. Our theme for
2020 is “Onward and Forward”
(Philippians 3:14, NLT), – “I press on
to reach the end of the race.”
As the Chairman of the Board of
Directors, I must extend a huge
thank you to our National President,
Pastor George Lehman, and National
Vice President, Pastor Jacky van Dyk,
for casting vision and rallying the
Lord’s laborers as we enter a new
season.
Our Gauteng South Region (GPS,
greater Johannesburg) has seen truly
amazing growth and all indications
are that this is only the beginning.
This region has grown by 35%
resulting in a current membership of
165. This is on a year-to-year basis.
Our newly appointed Regional
Leader in the Gauteng North Region
(GPN, greater Pretoria), Max Larue,
is doing a wonderful job of building
the eight chapters in this region.
These guys have shifted gears in
building personal relationships with
various bike clubs in the area. We’re
so excited to see what God is going
to do in this region. They have just
won a prize for biggest club present
at one of the biggest bike rallies in
South Africa. In the Northern Cape,
our largest geographical region in
area, Jos Steenvat continues to clock
the kilometers as God is growing
CMA in this province. They’ve also
recently broken ground for a new
