CMA International By ZIGMARS Atvars We are happy that this year we can celebrate 45 years of CMA. For us it was 12 years of wonderful experience with many opportunities to travel around and meet wonderful people. Now we have some more people around our ministry and it is great to feel that our work little by little grows. If in the beginning we were hoping that it would be bless- ing, now we can experience it. In this year especially, we felt that small Christian groups around Latvia were blessed after we were with them. We were encouraged seeing them pray and help local society share Good News about our Lord Jesus Christ. In the same way they were blessed by us – we shared our way to faith and reminded that God is not just working somewhere else, but He works also in our country. Today, we especially experience that there is virtual and real word. In Facebook you can have many people whom you call “friend,” but are they friends (helpers) when you are in need? No. In the same time, there are contacts that are real and stay in memory for a long time and they are real. As in previous years, also this year, on every Thursday we try to ride. Every time when we are togeth- er it helps us to remember that it is great to meet one another. Each meeting becomes important, if everyone is coming prepared. Sometimes it takes hard plan- ning, mak- ing priority to be at event, but it is real life. Not virtual, but real. Members of CMA Latvia. In one of our weekly rides we saw some men taking equipment from their car and carrying it to prepare for some event. We decided to serve and help them, and carry their equipment. After we were done, we left, but more inter- esting was the surprise when one person at different event came to me and said he was one of those who were there and who received help. God used us to help them and we hope that our colors not just show a group of persons who helped, but a group of persons who love the Lord Jesus Christ.
