would like to welcome
Mike Woltemath and his wife, Cindy, to the Christian Motorcyclists Association Board of Directors. Having heard of CMA previously from a friend and while returning to Texas from Fayetteville, Arkansas, the Woltemaths happened by the CMA Support Center, took the tour, and came away very impressed. As Christians and motorcyclists, themselves, it piqued their interest.
Mike’ s retirement plan was to serve and work at his church in the Houston, Texas area, but God had a different plan for him to get involved in projects on Iron Mountain. In 2015, they volunteered
for the Changing of the Colors, joined CMA in 2016, and began showing up regularly to assist during rallies and work weekends. While not active in a chapter, God established their ministry firmly on Iron Mountain. He had too much invested in Mike’ s knowledge of project design, construction, budgets, cost saving, and his sharp analytical mind. As Vice President of Operations for Koch Specialty Plant Services, performing turnarounds and upgrades for refineries and chemical plants, God trained and equipped him well. Mike is in awe of how God meshes everything together to put your skills and training to work for His Kingdom.
Just a few projects that bear Mike’ s fingerprints, right alongside the rest of the Iron Mountain crew, include designing the bath houses, the cabin interior layouts, construction of the host site, and developing processes and procedures for winterizing the campground.
Cindy has proven to be the consummate volunteer willing to tackle any project. She applied her eye for detail to the painstaking laborious painting of the full-color back patches, among other things. God brought His humble servants, Mike and Cindy Woltemath, to exactly where He needed them. CMA
