RUN for the Son( RFS) grabbed my heart in 2010. A story in itself,( from a mission trip to Haiti)β as I was being escorted from a Uruguayan United Nations compound by a machine gun-toting Uruguayan soldier from one country to another, I tried to share Jesus with him. As he shook his finger in my face and replied,β No Jesus for me,β he was looking at my colored CMA bracelet. Seeds were sown as he accepted the bracelet gift to wear on his arm( see pic).
My heart was pierced to learn of the CMA / MVI mission trip to Uruguay in 2025. I felt the nudge to finish what I ' d begun. I found myself there, in a country not so eager to hear of Jesus, using an RFS tool to seek once again an opportunity to speak! While one man replied,β Nonsense,β the other said,β Yes,β as the Spirit moved! A prayer was spoken. They loved the bracelet and the

rag tract! While they rejected Jesus, I have no doubt that the Holy Spirit pricked hearts that day! While we may not have seen an outward move, seeds were sown!
We often overlook the tools provided by CMAβ s RFS. These tools are an excellent way to get a conversation started! Itβ s easier to talk about Jesus with others abroad or in our own homeland, as evidenced by Bikes, Blues, & Barbeque this year in Rogers, Arkansas. A young lady, searching, seemingly guided, came my direction. A word was spoken. A CMA rag tract, complete with a CMA fingernail file and accompanied by a CMA compact mirror, was offered. As she gravitated toward Pam, my wife, a conversation ensued. Shortly, the Spirit led to aβ Heaven or hellβ reply.

Questions were answered. Knowing she wanted Heaven and Jesus for eternity, she accepted Christ that day!
We believe serving Christ through RFS is an immensely rewarding ministryβ sharing Jesus with the world! CMAβ s RFS provides the tools to start any conversation! Use the tools that definitely aid in witnessing. Be ready. Be willing. Sow the seeds. Finish what God has started in your life! You may be the last opportunity a lost soul may hear!
