DECEMBER YOUTH MOVEMENT ARTICLE
I am emailing to highlight the December Youth Movement article by Rachel Larson . I ’ m several decades out of my youth , but I always read the articles . Rachel ’ s words were both thought-provoking and soul-searching when she wrote about our relationship with God .

TIS THE SEASON … TO SHOW THE LOVE OF JESUS
On Saturday , December 21st , the Sons of Thunder Chapter visited the Fernandina Beach Rehab and Nursing Home in Fernandina Beach , Florida . They sang songs , read the Christmas Story , played games , and shared snacks . All while sharing the love of Jesus . Many residents have no family or limited visits from family members but enjoyed the Christmas season with a group of CMA bikers on this day . Susan
Robinson , Chapter Chaplain , stated : “ I know it was a blessing to all the residents , but it was also a blessing to us bikers as well .”
Penny Fender of the CMA chapter stated : “ This reminds us all of the true meaning of Christmas .” This afternoon event was packed with love and snacks . You could see and feel the love and appreciation from the residents . Sadly , many of these residents do not have family or visitors . Imagine going through your entire life raising a family and being with
not for Sundays only . Daily , I treasure the solitary times when I can focus on God and listen to Him . God is indeed in the small stuff in my life , and my trust is strengthened daily . Amen .

friends , then coming to the end of your life and having no one to share it with . It ’ s heartbreaking !
This event was such a huge success that the Sons of Thunder Chapter was asked to come back again . Who knows , we may even be back many times . Perhaps we can even get a few of them on the back of a motorcycle !
