March HeartBeat
This past September , Terri and I had the opportunity to help with the School of Evangelism . Part of that was serving with the students and the Arkansas CMA team at the Bikes , Blues , and BBQ Rally in Rogers , Arkansas . We were all winding down after the rally and sharing testimonies of all that happened , and this one really stood out . Thank you , CMA Arkansas , for all you do to minister at this event , and a special thanks to Karey Gardner and Pam Morris for sharing this testimony .

CMA ’ s Evangelism has attended and supported this event for several years . In addition to our ministry booth , CMA Arkansas has “ trash duty ” to empty trash containers throughout the event . On the last day of the 2024 rally , during trash duty , my husband ( Jerry ) and I ( Karey ) visited with a vendor ( John ), who is also a CMA member and sells commemorative coins . As we were leaving , John handed me a coin and asked that I give it to a person as the Holy Spirit leads . We told her that we didn ’ t have a million dollars , but we could certainly pray together for her financial health and any other needs . We had a time of prayer , and Teresa started sharing that she is a
Christian but was struggling . She told us how her husband was supposed to come with her that day , but he couldn ’ t and that she had been moping all day and felt alone . She shared that sometimes she goes into her prayer closet because God is the only person who answers when she calls .
She then told us that she had visited a vendor earlier in the day who sells coins . She wanted a coin there but needed to talk to her husband about spending the money . John said he would still be there the next day packing up if they wanted the coin . I had forgotten entirely about the coin in my pocket until that moment . At this point , she pulled out her phone to show us a picture of the coin . And , you guessed it , it was the coin I had in my pocket . At this point , I started emptying my
