When asked why she joined CMA , Cassidy recalls , “ When I first bought my motorcycle , I saw such a need in the motorcycling community of Mexico that I could not just sit there and do nothing . So , I sought out a group of Christian bikers to help me do something ; this was not a task I could do on my own ; I needed a team to back me up and train me to know how to do it . I then found CMA . At that time , there were only a few members in Mexico , but it then started to grow , and we started to be more effective in ministry . CMA began to make an impact on the motorcycling community in Mexico .”
She felt the same calling that Ivan and Irene felt , a calling that invited her to use her passion for motorcycling to share the Gospel of Jesus . This is the same calling that drew many of us into CMA . For some , maybe we became comfortable with our groups and our annual events and were lulled into complacency , forgetting to press conversations to the point of a decision for the Gospel . For others , maybe we became overwhelmed with all the events we had to serve at and found ourselves so busy that the last thing on our minds was to share Jesus . And for a few , maybe there is still that excitement about ministry that is ready to go out boldly offering the hope of Jesus to those they encounter , an expectation to see God do something

big in the motorcycling community they are part of . Maybe we all fit somewhere in each of these groups .
Psalms 46:10 ( NLT ) invites us to “ Be still , and know that I am God ! I will be honored by every nation . I will be honored throughout the world .” Being still doesn ’ t mean inactivity . It means taking a deep breath , allowing our hearts and minds to catch up with our bodies , and seeking God . As we develop a relationship with Him and allow His Holy Spirit to guide us , we will find that He is able to lead us on amazing adventures that bring about the opportunity to share the love of Jesus and offer the gift of salvation to those He brings in our paths .
The world is changing rapidly all around us , but we serve a God who knows everything about this world and has the tools to equip us . We must maintain our focus on why He has us here – it is about more than just us . There is a world out there that needs the hope of Jesus , and we are ministers of that Good News . Be encouraged . God HAS called and anointed you . Yes , you . And as you yield to Him and submit your ways to Him , you will see Him do the impossible through you . So , armor up , review your training , and let ’ s get out into the motorcycling community and bring in the harvest . Bikers need Jesus . CMA
