To Ignite something , it takes three elements : oxygen , fuel , and heat . Without one of these elements , it isn β t possible to start a fire .
I shared about oxygen on the first night , representing the foundation for our faith . Really knowing the character of God and trusting who He says He is . Science , math , and history all point to the existence of Jesus . If we don β t believe Jesus is who He says He is , we have no foundation for our faith . We have no oxygen for the fire .
Jerod and Jennifer McPherson shared with us about fuel for our fire , which is God β s love for us . God sees you ; God loves you , and He chooses you . His love is something we can never earn and we will never deserve it , but He gives it freely anyway . It doesn β t matter what you are facing or the struggles

you β ve been through ; He sees you , loves you , and chooses you . And nothing can ever change that !
Rachel shared about heat on the final night of Flame On . If we have a foundation of faith in Jesus , and we have accepted His love , which is freely given , then the only thing left to ignite your fire is to own your faith and use the fuel you β ve been given to keep it alive . A match requires you to strike it against the box to light . Our faith requires us to pursue our relationship with God to keep it alive . A fire can β t burn something that has already been burned ; just like our faith cannot live on last week β s word or on your experience at an event like Flame On alone . You must choose to use God β s Word and go to Him to pour His love on you ; giving you the fuel to keep your fire alive . It will take effort and ownership .
We all have a time limit on this earth , and nobody knows when our time is up . Proverbs 27:1 , NLT says , β Don β t brag about tomorrow , since you don β t know what the day will bring .β We aren β t guaranteed that we will be able to make things right tomorrow or to be able to have that conversation tomorrow . Let β s live each day to its fullest ; pursuing all that God has for us .
2 Timothy 3:16 , NLT says , β All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and

to make us realize what is wrong in our lives . It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right .β
This passage spells it out for us . It is important for us to read the Bible , so we know what to do . May we be so familiar with God β s Word that we will have the correct response in every moment . May we be so in tune with God β s voice that we will hear Him when He tells us to do something .
I was discussing a recent struggle with someone . The solution ? Take it to God . Pray for them . Pray for God to help you find healing and forgiveness in the situation . I felt like I had been smacked in the face , thinking , β Why didn β t I think of that ?β
I want to encourage you no matter what the struggle may be , God always has an answer . You just have to be willing to turn it over to God and trust Him to help you work through it . CMA
