CMA PRAYS 2024

1 . Pray CMA members would yield in a new and greater way to the leading of the Holy Spirit in their evangelism efforts .

“ Yes , I am the vine ; you are the branches . Those who remain in me , and I in them , will produce much fruit . For apart from me you can do nothing . Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers . Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned . But if you remain in me and my words remain in you , you may ask for anything you want , and it will be granted ! When you produce much fruit , you are my true disciples . This brings great glory to my Father ” ( John 15:5- 8 , NLT ).

2 . Pray for the servants of God who will attend the CMA ’ s Pastor ’ s Retreat March 19-21 .

“ Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church : the apostles , the prophets , the evangelists , and the pastors and teachers . Their responsibility is to equip God ’ s people to do his work and build up the church , the body of Christ . This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God ’ s Son that we will be mature in the Lord , measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ ” ( Ephesians 4:11-13 , NLT ).

3 . Pray for the Seasons of Refreshing ( SOR ) events this month .

• Pray that God would draw members and guests to attend and encounter Jesus at these events .

• Pray that CMA members would experience “ overflowing confident hope .”

• Pray that CMA members would learn new useful skills for use in offering hope to motorcyclists .

“ I pray that God , the source of hope , will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him . Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit ” ( Romans 15:13 , NLT ).

4 . Pray for the evangelistic outreach at the many motorcycling rallies , races , and events in March . Pray for divine appointments and many laborers sent into the harvest .

“ Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area , teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom . And he healed every kind of disease and illness . When he saw the crowds , he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless , like sheep without a shepherd . He said to his disciples , “ The harvest is great , but the workers are few . So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest ; ask him to send more workers into his fields ” ( Matthew 9:35-38 , NLT ).

5 . Pray for the Lord to continue to generously provide resources through Run for the Son for transportation for pastors and church leaders worldwide ..

• Pray for CMA members who are generously working so hard to invest in RFS that their efforts will be multiplied .

• Pray that local CMA Chapters will continue to invest generously in the Kingdom of God through RFS and that they will meet their goals for 2024 .

• Pray that others would catch the vision for RFS and the impact it is making around the world .

“ For ‘ Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved .’ But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him ? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him ? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them ? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent ? That is why the Scriptures say , ‘ How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news !’” ( Romans 10:13-15 , NLT ).

6 . Pray that God would powerfully move in response to the prayers of CMA members as they gather to pray on CMA ’ s National Day of Prayer , March 3 .

“ The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results ” ( James 5:16b , NLT ).

7 . Pray for CMA members to learn from the prayer habit of Jesus and grow in their personal prayer experience . Ask the Holy Spirit to draw other members into times of prayer .

“ But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer ” ( Luke 5:16 , NLT ).
