One of the most effective ways to strengthen a CMA chapter is to have chapter members take part in an international mission trip . Experiencing firsthand the impact of Run for the Son , sharing the Gospel , presenting motorcycles , and worshipping with believers from distant lands will reinvigorate your chapter member ’ s desire to fulfill the Great Commission . Richard Fields shares highlights of the recent CMA / MVI mission trip to Zambia .

CMA AFRICA TRIP
THIRTEEN pilgrims
from ten various areas across the United States , brought together by the common threads of their love for Jesus Christ , the Christian Motorcyclists Association , motorcycles , and the passion for spreading the Gospel message of changing the world , one heart at a time , arrived in Africa , the world ’ s second-largest and most populated continent in the world .
When taking a mission trip , the goals and expectations are to encourage those living in much more challenging circumstances , i . e ., struggling with daily living while trying to spread the Gospel message . Most times , though , teams experience a joyful fulfillment they have never felt before and are challenged to live a simpler life , striving to be a disciple maker of Jesus Christ . This is EXACTLY what happened on our trip !
In September 2022 , the Christian Motorcyclists Association , in partnership with Missionary Ventures International , organized a team to travel to Zambia , Africa , where we could distribute clothing , school supplies , toiletries , bath linens , and food supplies to some of the world ’ s most needy people .
They were so grateful and appreciative of all we did that their smiles and joyous expressions humbled us , making everything worth the effort .
We also presented two motorcycles to pastors in the local area . Our team and others from neighboring villages gathered in a small church building . The presentations were made as the full sanctuary sang and worshiped the Lord . The pastors were so surprised that they cried and were filled with joy ! Now they could take the Gospel message to even more unreached areas .
We also went into three maximum security prisons , including the death row section of one , and shared the Gospel with hundreds of prisoners . We also donated Bibles , Gospel proclaimers , and new soccer nets to replace the old ones that had worn out .
An unexpected but welcomed benefit is the friendships among the team members that formed naturally as the Lord intended . We are believers with a shared mission coming together for one goal :
