FLAME
On looked different at the start of this year . There weren ’ t 500-700 of us gathered at Iron Mountain . There wasn ’ t rock-and-roll worship going on . There weren ’ t three days full of sports , worship , games , and friend time leading up to it . However , we saw God meeting with students and adults across the country through Flame On 2021 ’ s Virtual Experience .
This year , we created two power-packed sermons ( still available on CMAUSA ’ s YouTube channel ). Various groups across the country met together or separately to listen to the Lord , worship , and begin 2021 focused on Jesus . To all who participated , thank you for being faithful to the Lord and giving your new year to Him , even though we couldn ’ t be together physically for Flame On in Hatfield .
2021 will be an amazing year for CMA and for Youth Movement . We have multiple efforts planned to connect with CMA ’ s young people from around the country throughout the year . We also have a couple of coordinated efforts planned to reach out to lost motorcyclists with young CMA ’ ers at motocross tracks . Then , at the close of 2021 , we plan to return to the Flame On event that we so missed last year .
Flame On has been such an encouragement to so many over the years . For me , it has shaped my walk with the Lord ; I have a memory of truly understanding the love of God for the first time sitting on the carpet of the prayer loft when I was still in high school . We sense the Lord encouraging us to continue and increase what the Flame On event is doing in CMA Youth Movement . We are not leaving it behind . Instead , we are committed to reimagining the more difficult sides of the event so that Flame On can remain a pillar of the ministry that Youth Movement does year-in , year-out .
Please plan to join us this year on Iron Mountain for Flame On 2022 . We believe that taking a year off ( last year ) will only increase the anticipation and buzz around the worship-fest that is Flame On this coming year . Young lives will explode with passion and an understanding of God ’ s will for their lives . Anointing and calling will pour forth in His presence . And love will flow freely from Jesus to and among his people at the event . We look forward to seeing you there . CMA
