A two-hour wait . That ' s what the soldiers were told by the hostess at a restaurant in Kokomo , Indiana on April 16 when they stopped for dinner . It was a busy night for the Half Moon restaurant as it quickly filled with young adults adorned in glitzy prom dresses and sharp-looking tuxedos . And then there were the bikers dressed in their bandanas , t-shirts , boots , and vests which displayed the CMA back patches . There we were , the Blood Bought Bikers from Warsaw , Indiana waiting for our name to be called so that we could be seated . We had made reservations earlier that afternoon , and we quickly learned that the soldiers who walked in very soon after us , did not .

Having just left the Bikers for Change gathering in Zionsville , our group of 20 CMA bikers was ready to relax and fellowship over a good meal before heading home . When our Chaplain , Laster , and our Road Captain , Ken , overheard the hostess tell the soldiers there would be a two hour wait to be seated , they did not hesitate . They were not going to miss this opportunity . They quickly invited the five soldiers ( four were there , one was on her way to the restaurant ) to join us for dinner . You see , five of our chapter members did not make it to the restaurant to join us for one reason or another - making just enough room for our U . S . soldiers to join us . We dined together - five young United States soldiers and a group of Christian bikers ( and of course , their checks were paid by five of our chapter members .)
After dinner , we all congregated outside right in front of the restaurant , under the sun and blue skies , and circled up and surrounded them in prayer . There were a lot of handshakes , hugs , and thank yous . The soldiers were grateful for the support and for us praying over them . These young soldiers were going to be deployed soon . In fact , one of them found out that he was going to be deployed while he was having dinner with us . Now , was it " just a coincidence " that those five soldiers arrived just minutes after we did and only a few minutes before our name was called to be seated ? Was it " just a coincidence " that there were just enough seats for our guests because our other members didn ' t join us ?
Coincidences ? Absolutely not . This was all put into place by God . He had His hand in everything that happened that day . I don ' t think any of us will ever forget it . I think I speak for everyone in our chapter that was there when I say we were truly honored and blessed to be a part of God ' s plan that day . He gave us that opportunity and the Holy Spirit was there ! Speaking for myself , I can tell you I was completely humbled and I am so thankful to be a part of something as wonderful as CMA . CMA
