LETTER TO THE EDITOR
NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. With work, caring for our families, and serving at church and in CMA, the responsibilities can pile up fast. These things are good and meaningful, but even good things can leave us feeling tired.
The Bible teaches that giving is like planting a seed that will grow into a harvest( Galatians 6:7-10). When we give our time, energy, and strength, we trust that God notices and will bring results in His perfect timing. But we are not meant to run ourselves empty. God does not expect us to carry everything alone.
Sometimes, the most faithful thing we can do is stop and remember where our strength really comes from. We are not the source; God is.
β The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. The LORD gives His people strength. He is a safe fortress for His anointed kingβ( Psalm 28:7-8, NLT).
When you feel stretched thin or overwhelmed, take a moment to rest in God. Trust that as you give, He is also supporting you. His strength is always enough, not just to keep you going but to carry you through.
