LIGHT UP YOUR ROAD many times do we
HOW wish it wasnβ t so dark when riding? I know I do. It seems like nowadays, itβ s so hard to see the road when it gets dark. Maybe itβ s because my eyes are getting bad, or the streets are darker. Whatever it was for me, I had to figure out what I could do to help the situation. I talked to a friend, and he suggested putting extra lights on my bike. Since I had a Harley, I looked at getting some fog lights from Harley. They would mount right on the crash bar. When I priced them, they were $ 449.95. I thought that was normal for Harley, but I didnβ t want to spend that much money not knowing if it would help.
I started looking for other options and talked again to my friend, who suggested Nilights( nilight. com). You can find them on Amazon or Nilights official website. I found a set that was less than $ 35. Then I needed to find mounting

brackets and again found them on Amazon. They were $ 18 for the set. I thought if it didnβ t help, I would only be out $ 53.
I ordered the lights and had a friend help me put them on. Mounting them was easy. When it came to how to turn them on, we had two options. You see, you can wire them to the high beam switch or use the Tago switch with the lights. We decided to use the Tago switch because it gave us an additional option. If the high beam was enough, I wouldnβ t need them. Well, once installed, I was really glad I had them. On a rainy night or when itβ s foggy, they really help.
When I bought my 2003 Moto Guzzi, I knew I wanted to do the same thing. This time, I went with a brand called Auxbeam( auxbeam. com). I wanted yellow lights that were not as intrusive for the oncoming traffic. Also, my friend wired it to the high beam switch this time. The reason for that is that the older Moto Guzzi
