CMA’ ers on Run for the Son Day participate in rides throughout the United States. Many chapter rides, community events, and other opportunities exist for the CMA chapters and members.
With that busy day for CMA, we also have a small army of volunteers to assist with the work it takes to answer the phones and reconcile the financial support each member has gained throughout May. The CMA Support Center could not accomplish what
we do without this crew. CMA’ ers from around the U. S. have come to Hatfield, Arkansas, over many years, offering a long day’ s work, many of them staying on for a week or two.
Run for the Son Day is fun. Yes, it is a long day, but each call sharing your totals and what your day has entailed inspires us all.
As you can imagine, entering the money is extensive, with as many as 50 + chapter recaps coming in daily and nearly 800 chapters during this time. It is a
busy and rewarding time at the Support Center, from processing the mail to confirming what each envelope contains to the 4-step process of getting all this data input.
A huge CMA shout out to you, the CMA volunteer, at the local chapter level to the state leadership, region, and, of course, our Run for the Son local crew and all of you who have come to Hatfield to assist over the years. CMA
