HARLEY-DAVIDSON 120TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT each one has received a
β As gift , minister it to one another , as good stewards of the manifold grace of God β ( 1 Peter 4:10 , NKJV ). We each have incredible gifts and talents that God uses each day . We have been called to share and use these gifts as CMA members within the biker community . God loves bikers and wants them to know who His Son , Jesus Christ , is . We have an opportunity to do this at the Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary event .
During July 13-16 , 2023 , Harley- Davidson will celebrate their 120th Anniversary . Bikers worldwide will come to Milwaukee , Wisconsin , to join in the celebration . It is estimated that over 150,000 bikers came from all over the world to celebrate Freedom at the Harley-Davidson Museum in 2018 . CMA has an excellent opportunity to serve at this event . Here is a little history of how CMA has been serving .
In 1998 , Harley-Davidson threw its official 95th Anniversary party on Labor Day weekend . Then again , in 2003 , for their 100th . Harley-
Davidson enthusiasts from all around the world attended these celebrations . From then on , Harley celebrated their Anniversary every five years , and the four years between were the Milwaukee Rallies . The Peacemakers CMA chapter started volunteering with parking in the early 2000s while it was at the state fairgrounds . In 2007 , the rally , renamed β Back on the Streets ,β left the fairgrounds , moved to the local Harley-Davidson ( HD ) dealerships , and shut down selected city streets for nightly parties .
Peacemakers started having a booth at Hal ' s HD in New Berlin . They gave the space for free in exchange for volunteering to do parking and store security . Hal ' s , House of Harley , Suburban , and Wisconsin were the dealerships involved .
In 2013 , Peacemakers and members of the HOG group out of Wisconsin HD in Oconomowoc , started a booth at that location during the 110th Anniversary . The Inspiration Riders CMA chapter stepped up to the plate , helped , and continued the booth .
Over the years , Peacemakers have moved to the Milwaukee Harley-Davidson dealership working a booth and sharing the Gospel . In 2021 , West Bend HD officially entered the co-op and was one of our stops during our Jericho Ride . While we stopped there , a conversation between the employees and our Area Reps , Eric and Stephanie Stirling , opened the door for an additional booth . As a result , in 2022 , the Freedom Riders CMA chapter was able to start a booth at this location .
In 2023 , Uke ' s HD has joined the co-op , and the SOS Riders CMA chapter will start a booth there . Uke ' s HD was established in 1930 and is the oldest dealership in Wisconsin .
