Mike and Stephanie Whitesell serve as the State Coordinator of Indiana . Shawna and I have known them for many years as they were formerly Youth Movement Area Reps for Tennessee . We have had the privilege of serving alongside Mike , Stephanie , and family at LLMX with our family for the past three years . Mike and Stephanie coordinate CMA ministry at the Amateur Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn β s Ranch in Hurricane Mills , Tennessee , July 29-August 6 .

EVERY relinquishes its summer grip to August , tens of thousands of dirt biking faithful pilgrimage to the Coal Miner β s Daughter β s scenic ranch nestled in the hills of Tennessee , halfway between Music City and the Birthplace of Rock & Roll . The riverbanks and pastures transform as their patrons forego Stetsons for 6D visored helmets , Justins and Ariats for Gaernes and Alpinestars . Instead , the Monster Energy signs and queues of racing trailers on Highway 13 β s two lanes signal the arrival of the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship to Hurricane Mills , Tennessee β affectionately known and revered as β Loretta Lynn β s .β
Families across the United States and abroad invest immeasurable hours , dollars , and energy in preparing their amateur riders to race Loretta β s track . So many of the biggest names in Supercross completed their rite of passage to the pros through this championship . The event is a fantastic spectacle , drawing agents , sponsors , manufacturers , and local fans wanting to watch the fastest tackle the dirt course . Beneath the pageantry , tradition , and crackling energy is a motocross mission field that needs the love of Jesus . So much expectation and pressure lead to a rider β s ready position at the dropping gate , often amplifying the troubles and worries that rode passenger with the families on their trip to the ranch .
