CMA GOOIDES AS MINISTRY
Summer of 2019 we were coming back into Canon City,
Colorado and saw two motorcycles by the side of the
road. There was only one man standing with those
motorcycles and we recognized him. We pulled over to
ask if everything was okay. He told us one of the bikes
was not running and the rider was walking across the
near parking lot to find a telephone to call for help. We
told him we’d go talk to him. Pulling in to the parking lot
we stopped to see if we could help. We had CMA t-shirts
on and he looked at us with real surprise and wonder. He
said, “I remember you two from the state rally you had
here this month” and he showed us the CMA silver coin he
had in his hand. “I got this coin during the meal you had
in the park and keep it with me. I was going to call the
number that is on it but, wow, you guys really are right
here when someone needs help!” We went and got our
rescue trailer, picked up his motorcycle, and took it to his
home where he wanted it. God really does give us divine
appointments. It’s up to us to recognize those special
meetings and sometimes the story will continue as we
work our ministry. He later posted a thank you on my
Facebook page. CMA ministry Goodies - use them!
