I received this letter from the chapter chaplain, Ken Francis, addressed to a chapter up in Washington. It is so well written and motivational; it embodies the heart of our Seasons of Refreshing theme this year and encourages us all in the heart of ministry.

A CALL TO EVANGELISM FOR OUR CMA CHAPTER
BROTHERS and sisters, we gather not merely as riders, not simply as an association, and not just as people who enjoy the open road. We gather as ambassadors of Jesus Christ. This identity is at the heart of who we are and why we ride. And this year, our CMA theme is more than a slogan— it is a divine assignment:
“ COME AND SEE!” This simple phrase is a mission, a lifestyle, a calling rooted deeply in Scripture.
As your chapter chaplain, my heart and my goal for us this year is clear: we will be a chapter focused on evangelism, not just attending events, not just hanging out, not just socializing; we are going to witness.
Every event— from the largest rally to the smallest weekend ride— is a mission field. Every biker

we meet is a soul Jesus died for. Every conversation is an opportunity with eternal weight.
So, we will come prepared: bike blessing stickers in hand, shop towels ready, tracts available, scripture on our lips, and our hearts ready to lead someone to Christ. We are not just riders; we are messengers of the King.
The Power of Invitation: if“ Come and See” is our theme, then we must ask ourselves: who will we invite this year? Who will we bring to see the Good Shepherd who cares for their soul, the Word of Life who speaks purpose into their emptiness, the Morning Star offering a brand new beginning, the Living Water that quenches every worldly thirst, and the Bread from Heaven that satisfies the hunger for acceptance?
There are bikers searching for something real, searching for hope, meaning, and truth. Many are searching for Jesus without even knowing it. And God has placed us directly in their path.
Scripture gives us powerful examples of this invitation: 1. John the Baptist— Pointing to the Lamb( John 1:36-37). John didn’ t point people to himself. He pointed them to Jesus. That is our mission— not to build our chapter, but to build the Kingdom.
2. Philip— The Simple Invitation( John 1:45-46). When

Nathanael doubted, Philip didn’ t argue. He simply said,“ Come and see for yourself.” Evangelism is not pressure or debate. It is an invitation.
3. The Woman at the Well— A Testimony That Transforms( John 4:28-29). She didn’ t have a perfect past or polished theology. She had an encounter with Jesus— and that was enough to bring a whole village to Him. If God could use her, He can certainly use us.
If we invite people to“ Come and See,” then we must ask: What will they see? Will they see a chapter full of love, purpose, and Christ-like compassion? Or will they see a chapter tired, distracted, or simply going through the motions? People aren’ t coming to see us— they’ re coming to see Jesus through us. Do they see His compassion in our actions, His joy in our attitude, His hope in our words, or His love in our presence?
When they meet us, they should walk away thinking,“ I saw Jesus today.” Our Rally Cry: Every event is a mission field; every member is a witness; every conversation is an invitation.
We will: carry blessing stickers, shop towels, tracts, Scripture, and most of all the love of Christ. We will be intentional, we will be prepared, we will be bold, and we will be faithful because someone out there is waiting for hope, someone
