CHAPTER HEALTH

By STEVE Brackeen

CHAPTER health

begins with a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ. I highly recommend a chapter Bible study. I know we all live very busy lives, and sometimes our relationship with our Lord gets put on the back burner. This is not intentional; it just happens. The first step to a healthy chapter is spiritually healthy members.
I know we all desire a close relationship with the Lord, so here are just a few suggestions. Get up an hour early each day, read a daily devotional, and spend some time listening to what He has to say to us. Once that is accomplished, it is
time to have fun with your chapter members. Plan rides, outings, and other events to spend time together.
Some chapters have a monthly potluck dinner in each other’ s homes. This is a time to get to know each other as people, not just chapter members. We are all part of the same family of God. Our members are sisters and brothersβ€” people we can count on during both good times and bad. Be thankful for them every day.
A healthy chapter is close spiritually and in friendship, going out together to tell the world about Jesus Christ. We love chapter life and pray that you do too. Don’ t
worry about who holds what position; just be thankful that you get to share this thing we call life with these wonderful people. CMA
