OLD SKOOL RALLY Matthew 28: 18-20, the

IN Lord Jesus Christ calls us toβ€œ go therefore and make disciples.” We are His people on the move. In the 18th century, Methodist Circuit Riders would travel hundreds of miles on horseback to preach the Gospel. They were committed to the Great Commission of our Lord. Still driven by horsepower and the urging of the Holy Spirit, but now on two wheels, the Christian Motorcyclists Association members are taking the Lord’ s Commission seriously to go.

The second weekend in July 2025, several chapter members and state leaders from CMA Utah attended the Old Skool Rally. CMA has been to this rally before. At
this event, there were multiple opportunities to minister to bikers. As in previous years, the rally offered a poker run. Over the past couple of years, there have been riders who have had motorcycle accidents while on the ride. This year was no exception. Consistent with the CMA motto,β€œ here if you need us,” three of us went to the hospital to visit one of the riders who went off the road during the poker run. Upon arriving, we got the opportunity to minister and pray for this unfortunate motorcyclist. We found out that his bike was a loss, but he sustained only minor injuries. He was sore, but all right. The next day, we met him at the rally and prayed for him and his wife. He is not a believer. Only God knows the rest of his story.
Several months before the Old Skool Rally, the Free Way Riders Chapter President received an email from Russ. He was asking about CMA. Russ was introduced to CMA while at a Harley-Davidson dealership in Mount Vernon, Illinois. There, he met a CMA member who gave him a CMA coin. In response to that email, Cory, the president of Free Way Riders, invited Russ to a chapter meeting. Russ was concerned that he would be judged because of his past. But Cory reassured him that it would not be the case. At the meeting, Cory shared the CMA story and introduced Russ to the rest of the chapter.
