LETTER TO THE EDITOR

THANK YOU!
I would like to publicly acknowledge two of your members whose names I do not know. My 78-year-old husband is wheelchair-bound, has dementia, and has had two strokes. We went on the Showboat Branson Belle Cruise in Branson, Missouri, on Saturday, May 3, 2025. As we were leaving, the gentleman on the right in the photo asked if he could push the wheelchair for me! I said, of course, that would be so kind. As we neared the uphill zig-zag ramp, my husband was having difficulty keeping his feet off the ground. So, the gentleman began pulling him UP the ramp so as not to get my husband ' s feet caught under the wheelchair. They even waited with my husband while I used the restroom. Then, the second gentleman helped by pulling one side as the first pulled the other side, all the way to our car. After finally getting my husband into the car, they asked if it would be ok for them to pray with us, for me to take care of my husband, and for us to have a safe trip home to Central Iowa. I said YES, of course! I got a couple of hugs, thanked them repeatedly, and said our goodbyes. What makes this even more special is that my husband ' s sister had been praying for us / me to have " help " as I took him down there alone!
I ' m attaching a couple of photos, one of which shows these two special angels sent from God! Again, these two gentlemen were extraordinary!! I had never heard about CMA before. You are a blessed organization! Who said motorcycle riders are scary? THANK YOU!!
