( continued from page 22) well. Like Paul, I sometimes feel unworthy to be called a servant of God. But here ' s the truth: who I am now is only because of God ' s special favorβ and that favor is not without results. Only God can take a broken, painful mess and rebuild it into something valuable and useful.
Being broken is never easy. Jesus was broken. Paul was broken. Peter was broken. Iβ ve been brokenβ and I know I may need to be broken again in the future, to be reshaped into who God is calling me to be.
There is great hope in the process. God promises to produce fruit from our surrender, and it will be good. We must hold tightly to His truth in times of pain, cry out to Him, and trust that He is working in us. Growth is comingβ and it will be good. CMA
