RFS TIP

WE just celebrated our 36th annual RFS ! The Puyallup Forgiven Riders participated in a multi-chapter ride in the Cascade Mountain Range of Washington State . We converged in several locations , meeting several chapters along our route to the 59er Diner , a favorite among riders , along Highway 2 , Stevens Pass . It was a beautiful scenic ride . Throughout the almost 200-mile ride , we crossed three mountain passes !

As you all know , it ' s not just about the ride . It ' s also about what we accomplish for the CMA world vision . What is your vision for Run for the Son ? I asked myself that question about six months ago or so . How can I donate as I do every year and promote and solicit donations ? No use in overthinking it ; you just do it ! The obvious place to start is with our brothers and sisters in Christ and the churches we attend . It ' s as simple as explaining the CMA mission of Run for the Son and just asking for support . So , as you start planning for next year , here are some things to consider .
Through the church I attend , funds are available through the Elders Tithe grant . 10 % of Our Savior Lutheran Church ' s general fund is designated for giving to

local , regional , and global ministries . I filled out the grant application and prayed . CMA Run for the Son was granted $ 2,850.00 just through an ask and a little persistence and prayer . We call this the Joy of Generosity at OSLC . Earlier this year , Forgiven Riders attended the celebration of all the ministries that received grants . Each ministry had a booth set up in the Fellowship Hall . On behalf of CMA , the ten-chapter members in attendance greeted and thanked the congregation , staff , and elders of Our Savior Lutheran Church and explained Run for the Son and how the funds are invested in lifechanging ministry worldwide . It was an excellent time of worship , prayer , and celebration ! We are now partners in ministry with OSLC as we continue to promote the ministry of CMA and our Forgiven Riders chapter to those on the road of life !
I encourage you to look for opportunities at your houses of worship and in your communities for partners to walk alongside of us and serve the Lord ! Together , we can accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God !
Thank you , Our Savior Lutheran Church , for serving the communities of Puyallup / Tacoma , WA , in loving God , loving people , and living like Jesus ! CMA
