LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
KINDNESS SHOWN
I was compelled to send a message after my experience this afternoon with a few of your members . I am from a small town on the Western Slope of Colorado , Fruita . As I was running errands , I saw a group of bikes and several gentlemen gathered around . My heart wanted to stop and visit with them about our family ' s story , but I am a bit anxietystricken and have difficulty approaching strangers . As I continued with errands , something kept telling me that I needed to visit with these men .
I convinced myself that if they were all still there when I was finished with errands , I would stop and share our story . Long story short , as I pulled up and asked the men if I could share something - I knew
God had put me in contact with them for a reason . As I handed them a card telling our story and how our son was shot and killed on March 21 , 2020 , approaching the anniversary of his murder - little did I know that today was the day of prayer . I have a very strong faith and believe in the Lord , our Savior . So when these gentlemen asked if they could pray with me , I immediately knew this was the Lord ' s work .
I do not know these gentlemen and may never see them again , but I wanted to reach out to pass along my sincere appreciation for the kindness shown on this day and every day .

BROKE DOWN
I live in a class A motorhome and pull my bike on a tow trailer . I was leaving Florida , headed to Georgia , when my RV blew a spark plug out of the head . I found a place to park in Homosassa , Florida . I called Bifer , and two members of the Crystal River Riders # 749 ; they were there within a half-hour . Tim , mechanic , and Larry , support . It wasn ’ t a fixable problem on the side of the road . Larry knew of a church nearby , so he called the pastor . I parked in the church parking lot , plugged in , and hooked up to water for seven days until the repair could be made .
I had a great week : power and water , Bible Study on Wednesday night , prayer breakfast on Saturday morning , chapter meeting and a

bike fest on Saturday afternoon , Sunday school and church on Sunday morning , and repair on Monday morning . |

It was a great week of ministry and many outreach opportunities . Thank you , Crystal River Riders . There is a lot more to this story . For instance , Larry came by almost every day to check on me , even though he was having his house remodeled . The pastor at the First Christian Church in Homosassa invited me to stop by when passing through . I had a place to park in their church lot . Many relationships were developed .
